History of Random Acts of Light Day

The day emerged as part of LLS’s flagship fundraising campaign “Light The Night.” The initiative began with celebrities surprising blood cancer patients and survivors to lift their spirits. Since its launch, over 40 cancer patients across the USA have experienced special moments with their favorite athletes and celebrities.
