History
The journey of LED technology began in 1927 with Russian inventor Oleg Losev’s first LED light. However, it wasn’t until the mid-20th century that LEDs began to gain significant traction. The breakthrough came in 2014 when Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano, and Shuji Nakamura won the Nobel Prize in Physics for developing blue LEDs, which paved the way for white LED lighting.
